An IRS is a communal aerial / dish system which integrates satellite signals and distributes these signals throughout a property such as a block of flats, terrace of houses or larger domestic system.
Combining digital TV aerial signals with satellite transmissions, it is also possible to include DAB and FM radio. An IRS system will offer the greatest choice and flexibility enabling residents to choose the method in which they receive their digital reception from a single outlet socket.
Installing an IRS system to your property will benefit you and the residents alike. Residents would no longer need their own dish and no one likes to see a property covered in dishes. Properties with IRS systems installed will also attract higher rental income.
We will design each IRS system individually. The signals are combined at a central location/hub and then distributed to each dwelling where a multi socket outlet is installed leaving the dwelling digital ready and the resident free to choose the preferred method of reception.
An Integrated Reception System would provide digital TV (Freeview), for those that have a digital ready TV or set top box. Satellite signals for Sky and BBC Freesat or other satellites can be added if required for foreign residents. DAB radio signals and FM radio signals can also be added.
The accepted industry standard for an IRS is a two cable system from the central hub location to each dwelling. This system would allow residents the freedom to use a Sky + or BBC Freesat HDR receiver both of which require a twin satellite feed to have full functionality.
